With ORA, we aimed at pushing the boundaries of product design. Drawing on our extensive research and experience, we created an innovative brand and product from scratch in 14 weeks. Our focus on visual and interaction design, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit, allowed us to create a product that stands out.

Introducing ORA

Conversations that feel like real life

We wanted to provide a calling experience where people could feel their loved ones' presence in the same room as them as if people were standing right in front of them.
We propose this device to be controlled by voice commands with additional features accessible through the smartphone application.

Why I chose to work on this concern?

Being an international student, I felt a roller coaster of emotions from feeling enthusiastic to feeling overwhelmed on moving miles away from my loved ones.

Although video calls connected us, I still felt a huge void by missing my family’s presence.

And so did 90% of students from my college

Our brand’s mission is to help people communicate beyond boundaries, by connecting their auras. 
We have delivered this experience through portals where auras of people can transcend from one place to another.

Why this device

To fulfil our brand vision of bringing people closer, we designed a device that allows more people to communicate with each other unlike human augmentation products, which are focused on providing value to only those who wear those.
